About Us

MARMAGYA Thrift & Credit Cooperative Society Ltd., founded by Late Sh. Sonpal Sharma `Marmagya', is registered under the Delhi Cooperative Societies (DCS) Act 2003 vide Registration number 10591.

It is a voluntary association that started with the aim of the service of its members. The primary objective of the Society is to uplift the social and economic conditions of its members by promoting saving habits. The products of the Society are in the shape of Compulsory Deposit, Fixed Deposits, Recurring Deposits, Saving Accounts, and Loans.

Note:-

• The society does not make TDS on the interest paid or credited to its members as it is exempted under Income Tax Act.

• The Interest received by members from the society is taxable under Income Tax Act, if members' total income exceeds the limit prescribed in the Income Tax Act.

• In case of premature premature payment of term deposit before 90 days, no interest will be paid by society.

• In case of premature MMDS, interest will be calculated as per FDR interest slab

• Maximum Loan Amount : Rs. 3,00,000/-

Mortgage Loan:

• Rate of interest : 14.4%

• Maximum Loan Amount : Rs. 20,00,000/-

MEMBERSHIP

Pre-Requisites for Membership:

• Any citizen of India, residing in Delhi NCT having a sound mind is eligible for the membership of society.

• She/he must have completed age of 18.

• An introducer is required to introduce the new member of the society.

Documents required for new membership:

• Photocopy of Aadhar Card, PAN Card, Election Card (with Original)

• Nominee's Aadhar Card Photocopy with Nominee's Signature and One Photograph

• Five Passport Size recent Photograph of Applicant

• Copies of Income Tax Returns for past 3 years

• Bank Statement for previous 6 months

• Salary Slip for previous 3 months and copy of Office Identity Card

• Latest Electricity Bill/Water Bill and one cancelled cheque

• NOC for Govt. Employees

• Membership Amount of Rs. 3500/-
